race day july 7, 2007 at broome-tioga sportscenter, bub entered two classes, fred entered one, the 50+ (yrs. old). bub didn't have the best day. 1st he decided to start the race in 2nd gear, which he never practiced, and was left at the gate stalled, he did get it started only to fall and have problems trying to start it again. then in the 2nd race in which bub was grouped in with fred, his motor blew up in the middle of the race after the hill climb. fred, placed 3rd in the 50+ (yrs old class). all in all they had fun, and that's what it's all about. unfortunately, this means the rest of the summer's riding is done until bub can scrape up enough money for a new engine.
